We kept 2 family traditions active this weekend: making lefse and hunting deer. Kathy and one of her sons hunted up at the farm this weekend, while the rest of us made lefse together. We have precious heirloom tools to make the process easier: Grandma Gen’s lefse recipe and griddles and wooden utensils handmade by Grandpa Oscar. It is an annual tradition that takes time and patience, and having many hands participate makes the time even more enjoyable!
